Gov’t, opposition at odds on Constitutional Reform Committee

This gov’t was elected to lead, it can’t allow the 14 non-starters to keep blocking everything it tries to do. Go ahead with those who have agreed to be a part of the committee. – @sweetjarose

Then that committee will send a report to a parliamentary committee, who will forward to an implementation committee, that will send it to a budget committee, then it goes to a review committee, and then nothing happens and the cycle repeats. – @KenyattaCampb19

Being a republic would be the greatest thing for Jamaica. This level of independence we now considered to be gives us no hope, but to be another country’s door mat. Whatever starts here in Jamaica must end in Jamaica, final stop.
