The struggle is real; but it’s back to school anyhow

THE EDITOR, Madam:

Fresh sets of new books and other school gear,

Newly purchased and well-pressed sets of uniforms.

Unpacked shoes ready to transport us to our places of learning,

Students curiously awaiting the arrival old friends and new teachers.

Anxiety at an all-time high for the 2023-2024 school year,

The struggle is real, but it’s back to school anyhow!

Where did the summer break so quickly dash?

What are the positive expectations for this new academic year?

How will school administrators handle the indiscipline plaguing our schools?

When did this seemingly irreparable breakdown in the education system begin?

Where will the various artificial intelligence tools steer us academically?

Who will help us conquer our greatest internal and external fears?

Why does it seem that our questions far outweigh any human answer?

The struggle is real, but it’s back to school anyhow!
