Make things a little easier, EOJ

THE EDITOR, Madam:

Dear Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ), many of us who are employed work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. jobs, give or take, Mondays to Fridays.

I have been meaning to get my electoral card updated since 2018, as it expired in 2017.

But your office hours are during my work schedule, and because your locations are nowhere on my daily driving route, I have just put it off.

EOJ, please reconsider your opening hours and days for your various locations before the general election is held, whenever that may be.

Also, consider doing online registration for new and updated cards.

EOJ, let’s see if you can make things a little easier for us working folks, as well as the younger generation that is now of the voting age, to get our new or updated voter registration cards with much more ease.
