Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh, whose tenure made history as one of the longest reigning local and international beauty queens, is now back on island.

The reigning Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh, was in for a pleasant surprise upon her return to the island yesterday. She received a sunshine greeting from the newly crowned Miss Jamaica World, Khalia Hall.

Hall began documenting the journey to meet Singh while on her way to the airport. "I'm on my way to pick up somebody special," she told viewers of her Instagram story. Followers were then captivated by the stunning photos of the regal melanin beauty queens.

Singh, whose tenure made history as one of the longest-reigning local and international beauty queens, was busy tending to crown duties overseas and unable to attend the local arm of the beauty pageant a few weeks ago. In Singh's absence, Miss Jamaica World and Miss World 1976, Cindy Breakspeare, did the honours of crowning Hall as the 2021 Miss Jamaica World at the Courtleigh Auditorium held on October 9.

The gorgeous duo arrived in luxurious style at the AC Hotel via a suave BMW, and received the royal red-carpet treatment.

"We're happy to finally have you back," Hall remarked to Singh, sharing this sentiment for fans to see. Her next stop is Puerto Rico in December for the 70th annual Miss World Finals.

Best of luck, Hall, and welcome home, Singh.
