From courtesy calls on Nairobi’s acting governor to music video shoots and performances, the diary of Grammy-nominated artiste Etana was filled for the seven days she visited Kenya, but she still managed to cover all the ground she wanted. The Free Your Mind singer-songwriter played host to the Pamoja Festival on October 30, dubbed the biggest concert since the Kenyan president lifted its long-standing curfew; opened the RFH Healthcare Maternity Ward with a suite named The Jestina Francis Ward, in honour of her mother; and recorded the music video for Legacy with Kenyan artiste Naiboi in Kibera.
