Kiwanis Club of Kingston repaints Seaview Gardens Police Station
THE KIWANIS Club of Kingston repainted the external areas of the Seaview Gardens Police Station, as part of the club’s community service project, on January 15. President Paul Peart said, “It was necessary to undertake this project following theclub’s previous visit to the station last year on a Father’s Day Treat organised by the cluband its members of the Service Leadership Programme at The Mico University College Circle K Club. This project will not be the last community service project by the Kiwanis Club of Kingston, as there are other needs which the club will seek to address in an effort to continue the existing good community relations with the Jamaica Constabulary Force, by making meaningful contributions in whatever way possible.”
Sergeant D. Bassick was very delighted that the Kiwanis Club of Kingston andmembers of the Circle K Club at The Mico University College provided this facelift to the station.
Sergeant Bassick expressed appreciation, on behalf of the commanding officer in the division and the Jamaica Constabulary Force, for the work done. He further noted that this level of community project by service clubs across Jamaica does have impactful values, as well as contributes to the social and mental well-being of everyone, especially in this challenging period of time.
