The St James Parish Library hosted the official relaunch of its ‘Friends of the Library’ programme at its Meagre Bay Road location in downtown Montego Bay on Wednesday, March 30, where donations were also made in support of the library by longtime Montego Bay resident and author Clinton P. Chin. The event was held under the theme ‘Memories of the City,’ based on Chin’s titular book outlining his early beginnings as a child of Chinese immigrant business operators in Montego Bay.
