Femme Creative, a collective of female Jamaican artisans, have pooled their resources and partnered with Toyota Jamaica to construct an all-female shopping experience taking place at the dealership’s 93 Old Hope Road location until Saturday.

Formed as a dedication to the celebration, upliftment, and support of women in the creative industry, Femme Creative held its first social distanced pop-up shopping experience at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in August 2020 that aimed to safely start reinvigorating the industry from a female creative perspective, while following all the protocols set out by the Government.

With financial independence and creativity at the forefront of their mind, Femme Creative set out to give female artisans the opportunity to collaborate, empower and inspire each other by selling their products.

“Toyota Jamaica welcomed us with open arms and gave us a safe space to allow our list of female artisans to sell their products to support the brands mission of female empowerment,” said co-founder of Femme Creative, Summer Jarrett.

General Sales and Marketing Manager of Toyota Mick McGrane added, “Toyota [is] delighted to partner with FC and provide a platform for female creatives to reach a wider audience.”

This year’s list of female exhibitors at Femme Creative include: Awf and on, Being Lady Boss, Bits and Bobs, Bonitto Bliss Scrub, DAE, K’s Golden SeaMoss, KAJ, Mani Aesthetics, Mutamba, Lee Creates, Naturalie Rooted, Science2ArtGG, Trendzy by Ackeilia and Vessel Of Aloe Vera.

While all exhibitors are female, the shopping experience is open to everyone.
