Big moves are afoot in tech. Jump, FLOW’s programme to bridge the digital divide by providing broadband connectivity, devices, and digital training to the most vulnerable households through a public-private partnership, was launched last Wednesday at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel with a futuristic display and a full complement of stakeholders. The programme, which will initially target 1,500 households during its four- to six-month pilot programme and is set to begin next month, aims to significantly narrow the digital gap and ensure that no one is left behind.
