Scores turned out to the Kingston Creative Art Walk Festival on Sunday at Water Lane, downtown Kingston, for an artistic experience unlike any other, with art exhibitions, stilt walkers and endless opportunities on Market Street to purchase art pieces from the artisan village. ‘Socacize’ dance warm-ups, mural tours and Merritone calypso throwbacks kick-started the activity-packed day, while attendees also enjoyed paint-and-sip sessions and a brunch lined with some of Jamaica’s most creative, authentic and tasty dishes. The carnival-themed event culminated with a lively performance from dancehall artiste Agent Sasco, who brought his A-game and left the crowd chanting for more. The event was the perfect choice for persons who love the arts and soca, a ‘tabanca’ experience no one wanted to miss.
