If there is one unwritten rule on Mother’s Day, it is that moms don’t cook. To honour this adage, the men of Grange Farms and Lodge Portmore, with support from Grace Foods, treated moms to a delectable meal on Mother’s Day at their annual Fathers Who Cook on Mother’s Day event. Held at Ham Stables, Bernard Lodge, Portmore, on Sunday, there were only men in the kitchen, as they whipped up and served delicious meals to the hundreds of moms and their families who came out for the event. The Leighton McKnight-led event also doubled as a fundraiser for the community-based early childhood institution – Clifton Basic School. Something Extra serves up highlights from the event.
