Dream House | A Bali-inspired sanctuary in Rose Hall
This is a contemporary house of considerable mystique. The extent of the actual building and its world-class facilities are deliberately hidden behind high walls, so as to keep evil spirits out. The design is inspired by the architecture of Bali, Indonesia, with its religious and spiritual Hindu traditional doctrine dating back many centuries.
The 6,000 square foot harmonious layout is of seemingly various interconnected pavilions, embracing a stand-alone, gazebo-style, reception building at the front, with a mammoth front door, the largest seen in recent memory. This foyer area leads through an open-air, tropical, palm tree courtyard of magical fish ponds to yet another structure, with its front door being reached over a pond.
The other sections of this temple of delight, with its 180-degree panoramic vistas, comprise, surprisingly, two separate staircases, along with five king-size bedrooms and their bathrooms. Living and dining rooms and a den join the island kitchen, exposing its granite. These spaces wholly embrace seamlessly balconies, covered verandahs, and patios that connect through wide glass doors to the friendly outdoors, with its infinity-edge, aquamarine swimming pool lined with stone, and lounging wooden decks. A private beach is all yours, nearby.
Conspicuous details that augment the property include: the shining wood floors and ceilings; home theatre system; bathrooms with twin basins in vanity, coupled with separate soaking tubs and glass showers; and the cedar wood louvred windows; all topped by cedar wood shingle roofs.
Built on a half-acre in view of the golf course, the house is positioned on the hill just above Rose Hall Great House, in an exclusive gated area of Rose Hall, known as The Greens, near Montego Bay.
This is the ultimate Caribbean living experience, designed for the tropics ... designed for you!
