Bar Association reacts to death of retired judge

The Jamaican Bar Association (JBA) in reacting to the death of Justice Boyd Carey, said the Caribbean has lost a legal giant.

JBA president, Donovan Walker, says Justice Carey was highly regarded as a judge of the highest standards, ethics and probity.

Defense lawyer, and former student, Bert Samuels, recounted a case he argued before Justice Carey in the Jamaican Court of Appeal in which Justice Carey showed he was not above being corrected.
