Police seize more than 250 rounds of ammo in Mountain View area

The police are reporting that just under 300 assorted rounds of ammunition were seized yesterday in the Mountain View area of east Kingston.
The East Kingston Police say a total of 292 assorted rounds of ammunition were found during a search of several premises in the community known as ‘Burgher Gully’.
The police say no arrest was made in connection with the seizures.
Yesterday’s seizure came a day after the East Kingston Police seized two high-powered weapons and more than 50 assorted rounds of ammunition in the Malvern Avenue area.
