10-year-old Clarendon boy killed as fishing boat falls on him

A 10-year-old child has died after a fishing boat fell on him in Clarendon.
The child has been identified as Milton Samuda from Portland Cottage in the parish.
It’s reported that he was attempting to hop onto a boat being towed by a donkey cart driven by his grandfather.
The child’s grandfather said he was leaving Portland Cottage to head to the Rocky Point Fishing beach when he heard a sound and realised the boat had toppled over killing Milton.
Milton was a student of the Portland Cottage All-Age School.
The matter is now being investigated by the police.
