Escaped prisoner recaptured, charged

The police have recaptured a 20-year-old man who escaped from the Linstead lock-up in St Catherine last month.
Steven Burke was captured yesterday and is scheduled to appear in court on September 3.
He has been charged with escaping custody.
He was initially incarcerated on the charge of robbery with aggravation
The police say a fugitive apprehension team accosted Burke in Bonnet Hall, Guys Hill during an operation.
