16-year-old boy among five in hospital after St James shooting

Five men remain in hospital after being shot in St James last night while playing a board game.
The police say the incident took place on Rough Road in Glendevon.
According to a statement from the police, two of the men are in serious condition while the other three are stable.
A 16-year-old boy is among those injured.
According to reports, minutes before nine o’clock last night, a group of men was playing the game ludo under a tree, when two armed men approached and shot them.
The police were summoned and the five men were taken to hospital.
Investigators have not stated a motive for the shooting.
The police are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to contact them.
