The National Works Agency (NWA) says as of tomorrow, it will close Barbican Way in St Andrew for four months, to carry out a $12 million road repair project.
Barbican Way, which is located beside Fontana Pharmacy, is expected to be reopened in December.
The works agency says the closure is to facilitate demolition of a Box Culvert and construction of a new structure.
Funding for the new culvert is allocated under 2015-2016 recurrent budget for the Transport and Works Ministry.
The NWA is advising motorists and pedestrians to choose suitable alternative routes during the four-month closure and obey all posted warning signs.
