Ministry makes plans for pensioners to cash vouchers a week early

The Ministry of Social Security has revealed that arrangements are in place for pensioners to cash their pension vouchers a week earlier.

Starting Monday, the ministry says persons with vouchers payable between December 30 and New Year’s Day can begin cashing them at post offices islandwide.

It notes, however, that this does not apply to the National Commercial Bank, which will only cash vouchers on or after the date they are payable.
