Retirement dump in St James on fire

The Retirement dump in St James is on fire.

It’s reported that the fire, believed to have been set ablaze by arsonists yesterday, escalated this morning.

However, firefighters have now contained the blaze and are working to extinguished it in another two hours.

In March, the dump was set on fire twice in a week leaving the communities of Long Hill and Unity Hall under smoke.
