Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) candidates for the upcoming general elections are meeting at this hour at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston.
According to JLP officials, the meeting is being used to fine-tune preparations for the elections, widely expected to be held early this year.
General elections are constitutionally due next year.
JLP Leader Andrew Holness and General Secretary Dr Horace Chang are among several persons expected to address the candidates.
The party says the meeting will be opened to the media at 2 p.m.
