Search on for missing mother, daughter in Manchester

The Manchester police are now searching for a woman and her 6-year-old daughter who have gone missing since last week.

They have been identified as 22-year-old Athena Francis and Latoya Wilson, both of Royal Flat district in the parish.

The Williamsfield police report that Francis left home about 1 p.m. last Monday telling family members she was going to pick up Latoya at school, but never returned.

According to the police, Francis is of dark complexion, slim build and about 5 feet 5 inches tall, while Latoya is of brown complexion, slim build and about 3 feet tall.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Francis and her daughter is being asked to contact the Williamsfield police at 963-4225, police emergency number 119 or the nearest police station.
