Firearm and ammunition seized

One man has been charged following the seizure of a homemade firearm and ammunition on Gully Road in Boscobel, St Mary yesterday.
He is 26-year-old Kamal Bartley, a labourer of Boscobel in the parish.
Bartley is booked to appear in the St Mary Resident Magistrate’s Court on February 4.
The police say about 8:30 yesterday evening a team carried out a snap raid at a shop in the area, when the firearm was found.
