They came from near and far to sell in Half-Way Tree at the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP) mass meeting, but not all that was being peddled was legal.
Marijuana was a hot commodity, and Chrisann was not going to miss out.
She journeyed from Bailey's Vale, St Mary to cash in.
"I just take what I can sell, so that when I go back home I can cook for me and my kids," Chrisann said.
"Mi never have nothing, but mi sell something so mi give thanks."
The 32-year-old mother of two said she has been selling marijuana as her only source of income for the past three year.
"This is all I do; buy weed and sell," Chrisann revealed.
"I sell for $20, $50 and $100. I have made about $2,000 already since night."
But despite the illegal trade being her only means of feeding her children, she said she will not be tempted to sell at a People's National Party meeting.
"Mi support the JLP from mi born," Chrisann declared. "I don't sell at PNP meetings. Mi satisfy with what I earn on the road or at this meeting here," she said.
