UPDATE: Two held in connection with Norwood triple murder

The police have held two persons in relation to yesterday’s attack in Norwood, St. James that left three people dead.

The police say the two were accosted between yesterday and this morning.

They say the detainees will be processed and interviewed.

The police also say they are maintaining a presence in the sometimes-troubled Norwood community.

Gunmen yesterday walked into a cook shop in the community and opened fire killing three men.

The police have said the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the operator of the cook shop and a woman over a cellular phone.
