Expo 2016 on course with FLOW
The Jamaica Manufacturers' Association and the Jamaica Exporters' Association's biennial Expo Jamaica has received a major boost for the 2016 staging with the addition of telecommunications firm FLOW as title sponsor. On board to the tune of $6 million in cash and kind, FLOW's partnership is an indication of the Expo's mission to represent the best that Jamaican businesses have to offer.
Garfield Sinclair, CEO of FLOW, said the company is delighted to once again be a partner on this excellent initiative, which showcases the best of the Jamaican industry. "This is our fourth year of sponsorship to a sector for which we've been the telecommunications linchpin, both locally and internationally. If it's 'mission critical', C&W Business has always been the telecoms partner of choice for Jamaican business. We look forward to this year's expo, which will no doubt deliver more productive connections between our local industries and their prospective markets," Sinclair said.
Through C&W Business, FLOW will be providing 100Mbps Wi-Fi capacity for public access at multiple locations and all ADSL, landline and PBX equipment for the expo secretariat and buyers' areas. Additionally, the provision of the exhibitors' entire technology infrastructure will create a resilient business support platform throughout the staging.
The 2016 event will facilitate a significant expansion of the offerings to both local and international buyers and sellers, with the staging of the expo inside the National Indoors Sports Centre.
