FLOW Boosts ZikV Awareness

Telecommunications firm FLOW has partnered with the Ministry of Health in a bid to raise awareness of the threat of the Zika virus.

In addition to facilitating communication through its various platforms, the company also sponsored a school-based Selfie and Jingle Competition which challenged the students' creativity as they learnt about the virus and the preventative measures to be taken in controlling its spread.

On Friday, April 8, the top participating schools were rewarded for their efforts at a presentation ceremony hosted at the Medallion Hall in Kingston. The company presented a smartphone and a tablet to the winning school and teacher, respectively.
