UPDATE: Hanover bus driver and wife, abducted and murdered

The police are investigating the abduction and murder of a couple from Elgin Town in Lucea, Hanover, last night.

Their bodies were later found about 10 o'clock in the Mosquito Cove community after residents launched a search for the couple.

The police have identified the man as 56-year-old Balford 'Firebird' Gordon, who is said to be a driver who plies the Negril to Lucea route.

His wife is identified as 45-year-old Aletta Brown Gordon.

Investigators are now processing the scene where the bodies were found, but have not yet established a motive for the killing.

The police say both bodies had gunshot wounds.
