Met Service lifts flash flood watch
The Meteorological Service has lifted the flash flood watch that was announced for low-lying and flood-prone areas of St Thomas, Portland, St Mary and St Ann.
One child was killed after being swept away in St Thomas on Tuesday and there were several other reports of flooding and landslides in eastern parishes.

In the meantime, the met service says a trough remains across Jamaica and the central Caribbean.
But satellite imagery and radar reports indicate that rainfall activity has been significantly reduced across Jamaica.
The forecast is for isolated showers this morning, then scattered afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms across central and western parishes.
