Four killed in St Ann bus crash

Four men have died and a female teacher is battling for life after a bus crash along the Laughlands main road in Runaway Bay, St Ann this morning.

Head of the police traffic division Senior Superintendent (SSP) Calvin Allen says the accident happened at about 6:45 when a Toyota Hiace minibus overturned and collided with a RAV4 motor vehicle.

SSP Allen says the four men who died were travelling in the minibus which was carrying about ten persons in total.

It remains unclear whether anyone in the RAV4 was injured.

The police are carrying out further investigation.
