Two men shot dead in early morning police operation

Two men were shot dead in a pre-dawn police operation in the Maverly community of Tamarind Turn off Denver Crescent in St Andrew this morning.

The police information unit has confirm‎ed the killings but could not immediately provide the circumstances.  ‎

The incident has also been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations, but it's investigators are not yet on the scene.
