Bullet-riddled body of man found near Vernamfield airstrip

The bullet-riddled body of a man was found along a dirt track near the Vernamfield airstrip in Gimme-mi-bit, Clarendon this morning.
It has since been identified as 21-year-old Allister Henry, otherwise called Bulkin, of Rocky Point in the parish.
The body was found by a passerby about 6:30 a.m. who called the police. However, residents of the area reported hearing explosions last night and called the police. A search was done of the area but nothing suspicious was found.
The police continue to investigate.
