St Ann man charged with firearm offences

A St Ann man has been arrested and charged with firearm offences is to appear in court on Tuesday.
The man, whose name is being withheld pending further investigations was held during a police operation in Lime Bottom district, Ocho Rios.
The police say about 11 o’ clock yesterday morning a team was patrolling the area when the man was accosted and searched.
The police say a point 45 pistol with a magazine containing eight point 45 rounds of ammunition was found in his possession.
