Ganja town hall meeting planned for St Thomas this evening

The Cannabis Licensing Authority in collaboration with the St Thomas Ganja Growers and Producers Association will host a town hall meeting this afternoon in the parish.

The meeting will be held at the Upliftment Center in White Horses, starting at 5 o'clock.

President of the local association, Gary Foster says that the meeting will serve as a sensitisation session.

He says it will give farmers and those interested in the industry an opportunity to be more engaged and to have a better understanding of the regulations put forward by the government.

According him, the meeting will serve as a medium for settling all uncertainties among the farmers regarding the ganja industry.
