'We are too selfish'

LONG BAY, Portland:

Claiming that Christianity is a farce, and that the Zohar, a principal text of Kabbalah, which is considered by many Bible scholars as the highest teachings available on the five books of Moses, Lloyd Campbell is on a mission to spread the word about how best to transform oneself to a state of peace, unselfishness, and love.

Campbell, who was born in New York and is the last of six children for his parents, felt a strong calling to be in Jamaica. However, his intention to migrate was delayed following the passage of Hurricane Gilbert in 1988.

But as the years unfolded, the yearning desire became more intense, and before long, it became apparent that destiny was calling. He, by then, was overly convinced what his mission to Jamaica was shaping up to be and had become.

"It's really about the Zohar and the way it can transform us from inside out," said Campbell.

"The major religions of the world, Christianity and Judaism included, have made very little impact on the condition of man and his selfish ways. We've stopped caring about each other. Selfishness has reached a high all over the world. It's everyone for himself and his family. The Zohar tells us that we've been created with both the good and evil inclination," he added.

SERIOUS TROUBLE

According to Campbell, Zohar can help us win the battle against the evil inclination. He noted that Jamaica is in serious trouble and that the only thing that he can do to help the country at this time is to spread the Zohar message.

Campbell also explained that the Kabbalah was said to have been given to Moses the same time he received the 10 Commandments. He pointed out that the Zohar was written down approximately 2,000 years ago and is only now being made available to the masses.

Continuing Campbell said: "The Zohar has helped all the locations that they've been placed- from uncovering corruption at a Philippines custom clearing dock, to reverting hurricanes away from the coastlines. This is the power of the Zohar. It is with this expectation that we are so passionate about the dissemination of Zohar in Jamaica. Kabbalah teaches that the Zohar is the only tool that will make the impact necessary to shift man's consciousness from selfishness to loving thy neighbour as thyself."
