The House of Representatives had to be suspended for ten minutes today after a member of the public suffered a seizure while Attorney General Marlene Malahoo Forte was making her contribution to the Sectoral Debate.
At least five medical doctors from the chamber rushed upstairs to the gallery to attend to the visitor.
When Malahoo Forte resumed her presentation she thanked her colleagues who assisted the man, a member of her constituency.
The doctors who assisted the visitor included Dayton Campbell, Horace Chang, Morais Guy, Wykeham McNeill and Lynvale Bloomfield.
The visitor was subsequently rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
