Pedestrian killed in Stony Hill crash

Fifty-seven-year-old Franklyn Smith of Temple Hall, Stony Hill, St Andrew has succumbed to injuries he sustained in a collision on the Golden Spring main road in the parish on Friday.

The Stony Hill Police say about 2:55 p.m., Smith was walking along the main road when the driver of a motor car allegedly failed to negotiate a corner and collided with a bus which then hit  Smith.

He was taken to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
