Chapelton police seek mother of one-day-old abandoned baby

The police are seeking to find the mother of a one day old baby who was abandoned on the doorsteps of a hospital.
The Chapelton police in Clarendon report that a baby girl was found in a shoebox on the steps of the Chapelton hospital about 10:30 p.m. yesterday.
The child, who appears to be in good health, is being monitored in hospital. The police are seeking the public's assistance with locating the mother.
