Thieves rob downtown Kingston jewelry and liquor store

Thieves struck the Carousel Jewelry Store on King Street early this morning, running off with many items of jewelry and liquor.

The value of the items has not yet been determined.

It is believed that the thieves entered the store by breaking through a glass window at the front.

The police cordoned off the area with yellow tape as passers-by gathered at the scene.

The police were still processing the scene when The Gleaner arrived and could not give details as their investigations were ongoing.
