ISSA calls emergency meeting following sudden death of schoolboy footballer

The president of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association Dr Walton Small has called an emergency meeting for tomorrow following the sudden death of St George's College football captain, Dominic James.
James died this afternoon, shortly after he collapsed during a match against Excelsior High at the Stadium East field in Kingston.

Small said Wednesday's meeting will be held to discuss whether to postpone the next round of games which is set for Friday.
The match was just four minutes old when James, a former Jamaica College player, collapsed.

He was attended to by medical officials on field before he was placed in a vehicle driven by his father David James and rushed to the Medical Associates Hospital.
The footballer he died while undergoing treatment.
A grieving St George's coach Neville 'Bertis' Bell told The Gleaner Power 106 News that James, died from a seizure.
The George's College players as well as the Excelsior's team cried openly after hearing the news of James death.
