The Transport Authority says it will be investigating complaints that some bus operators traveling along the North-South Highway have hiked their fares since the increase of the toll rate earlier this month.
Passengers are reportedly being made to pay between $50 and $100 more on their regular fares.
The Manager of Communication and Customer Service at the Transport Authority, Petra- Kene Williams, said the body does not support the hike.
