Tropical Storm Nicole forms in the Atlantic, no threat to land

Another storm has formed in the Atlantic.
The Meteorological Service says at 11 o’clock this morning the centre of Tropical Storm Nicole was located 840 kilometres northeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Tropical Storm Nicole is not a threat to Jamaica.
Nicole is moving toward the northwest near 13 kilometres per hour and a turn toward the north-northwest with a decrease in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days.
Maximum sustained winds are near 85 kilometres per hour with higher gusts.
The Met Office says little change in strength is forecasted for the next day or so, followed by gradual weakening.
