Prime Minister Andrew Holness has offered sympathies to the people of Cuba and the Bahamas following the passage of Hurricane Matthew.
Jamaica House says Holness telephoned Bahamian Prime Minister Perry Christie yesterday and pledged Jamaica’s support for the rebuilding process.
It also says Holness promised that Jamaica would offer any assistance that may be required by countries in the region that were impacted by the storm.
He noted that already help is on the way to Haiti, the country worst impacted by Hurricane Matthew.
