December 5 deadline for Tivoli compensation claims
The West Kingston Compensation Committee has announced a December 5 deadline for the submission of claims by persons affected by the May 2010 police-military operation.
The committee says claims should relate to loss and damage to business and property, personal injuries and death as a result of the incursion.
It says claims must be submitted through an attorney representing the claimant.

The committee also says persons who do not have an attorney should go to the Office of the Public defender where arrangements will be made for legal representation.
The committee says it will review all claims, determine any amount to be awarded to the claimant and recommend payment by the Government.
The body, chaired by Justice Seymour Panton, says the general public will be barred from the deliberations of the three-member body.
The other two members of the compensation committee are Ministers of Religion, Rennard White and Herro Blair Jr.
