Police investigating death of inmate at St Ann's Bay lock-up

The Inspectorate of Constabulary has launched an investigation into the death of a prisoner at the St Ann’s Bay Lock-up in St Ann yesterday.
The dead man has been identified as 26-year-old Carl Thyme of Goshen district in Browns Town, St Ann.
Reports are that about 3:45 p.m. Thyme and an inmate were involved in an altercation during which he was stabbed in the chest.
Another inmate who wasn't involved in the altercation also received a stab wound during the incident.
Both injured men were taken to hospital where Thyme later succumbed to his injury and the other inmate admitted in stable condition.
