Dead gunman in Hunt’s Bay Police Station shooting identified
The police have identified the man killed during yesterday’s shooting incident at the Hunt’s Bay Police Station as Jason Campbell otherwise called 'Shadow' of a Waterhouse address.
The police say they also recovered a ballistic vest, a Glock pistol and 23 rounds of ammunition.
Campbell was reportedly one of two men who attacked a man who was leaving the police station, where he had gone to report as part of his bail condition, shortly after 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon.
Head of the Criminal Investigation Bureau Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ealan Powell, says the two gunmen came up and opened fire hitting the man.

He says police personnel at the station heard the gunfire and responded.
According to Powell, a fire-fight ensued and one of the attackers was shot.
Both men were taken to hospital where the gunman was pronounced dead and the other man admitted.
A woman travelling in the vicinity at the time was also injured.
ACP Powell says a manhunt is on to find the accomplice who escaped.
