Human skeletal remains found in St Ann, believed to be of a female

Up to a short while ago detectives from the St Ann Police Division were processing a scene along the Priory Main Road where the skeletal remains of a human was found a short while ago.

According officers on the scene, the remains resembling that of a female, were discovered by a resident who notified the police.

Vehicular traffic on the busy roadway was at a standstill this afternoon with a backup along the main road that links Ocho Rios to Montego Bay, St James.

A number of buses transporting tourists to Montego Bay were delayed for an extended period.
