Gas prices to go up by $6.16 per litre Thursday as new tax takes effect

Gas prices are to go up by $6.16 Thursday as the added tax on fuel takes effect.
The state-owned oil refinery Petrojam says E-10 87 will sell for $104.20 per litre.
A litre of E-10 90 will sell for $105.85.
Meanwhile, automotive diesel oil will go up by $7.28 per litre to sell for $103.73.
The price of Kerosene is to go up down by $0.41 to sell for $87.29.
Propane cooking gas will go up by $5.64 to sell for $43.07 while butane will go up by $44.62 to sell for $48.09.
Retailers will add their margins to the announced prices.
