Mandeville tax office reopens

The Mandeville office of Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has reopened following yesterday's closure after an employee was fatally shot at her home.

The TAJ says staff are still receiving counselling to ensure that operations are returned to normal.

The employee, Keneisha McKenzie Gayle, was pronounced dead at hospital after receiving a shot in the armpit

It's reported that Gayle and her common-law husband were at home yesterday when she was shot.

Head of the Manchester Police, Superintendent Wayne Cameron, says the incident is being treated as a homicide.
