UPDATE: All schools closed except those in Westmoreland, Hanover, St James

The Education Minister Ruel Reid has ordered all schools closed except those in Westmoreland, Hanover and St James.

According to the minister, only students sitting Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exams should turn up at the schools that have been ordered closed.

In the meantime, St Catherine High School says CSEC students should not report there because of severe flooded enroute to the school.

St Catherine High CSEC students are asked to report to the Jonathan Grant High School or St Jago High.
